This is the home for software Raymond Tec is actively building. Some of it grows into a standalone product. Some of it becomes a proving ground for new technology, architecture, security controls, interfaces, and workflows. None of it needs to pretend it is finished before it is.

A project and operations platform for work that drifts, pauses, resumes, accumulates history, and becomes expensive to restart when the context is scattered across too many places.

A Shopify app and MCP server being built to give merchants a safer, more useful bridge between their store and AI tools without turning access to the admin into a blank check.

A product, and a place to find out whether an idea survives contact with real work.
Longtail Forge is Raymond Tec’s project and operations platform for work that does not move neatly from “to do” to “done.” It keeps projects, actions, tasks, notes, files, client context, decisions, and support history close enough together that returning to a project does not require reconstructing the entire story first.
It is also where Raymond Tec can experiment with new technology and develop practical solutions without treating somebody else’s production system like a laboratory. Permissions, self-hosting, modular architecture, secure records, contextual interfaces, deployment, and the awkward edge cases that show up in real software all get tested here. Some ideas become Longtail Forge features. Some become lessons that make client work better. That is exactly what an in-house project should do.
Have a workflow that deserves its own tool?
These are Raymond Tec products, but the same kind of problem shows up in client work all the time: a process no existing product handles properly, information trapped between systems, or an internal workflow that has outgrown the spreadsheet holding it together.
Custom development does not need to mean rebuilding the universe. Sometimes the right answer is one focused application, plugin, dashboard, portal, or internal utility that removes the part of the process everybody already knows is ridiculous.
STOREWRENCH
Give AI useful access to Shopify without handing it the keys to everything.
StoreWrench is a Shopify app and MCP server being built around a simple rule: AI should get the capability it needs, not a raw set of admin keys and a cheerful invitation to improvise. The embedded app can already create unpublished article drafts and update existing drafts, while the local MCP exposes focused read-only tools for finding blogs and articles.
That local MCP is intentionally read-only for now. The next major work is the part that matters before remote clients should touch a live store: authenticated remote transport, authoritative tenant binding, separated credentials, and merchant-controlled capability policy. Broader editorial, media, navigation, theme, commerce, and Assistant features can come after the trust boundary is boring enough to rely on.
